Conference on China and the World in Mao's Last Decade, 1966-1976

Over thirty leading scholars from around the world will gather together for two days of intensive discussion of the international impact of the Cultural Revolution on China's position in the world.  A dozen top mainland academics, ranging from very senior scholars to young graduate students at the very beginning of their careers, will meet with colleagues from all around the world to explore in depth the international ramifications of events in China during the last years of Mao Zedong.
